I was wondering if it's difficult to draw realism without that much of a reference? I mean, I don't really know if drawing realism should only stick to using reference before hand .__.

Hmmm I don't think I quite understand what you mean? Are you asking whether it's difficult to draw realism without using reference pictures and such? If so, realism is when you try to depict things as they are in real life exactly, so it'd be difficult to draw realistically without using references, unless you knew the thing you're drawing really really well... I always use references, and when I draw without them things turn out kinda weird

yeah I was refering to that...do you happen to know someone's face like really really well? every crook and detail to draw or sketch them without a reference...Most artists don't because they try to imitate as much as they can of the original person/object..but just wondering haha

ahhh well, i'd say the best i can do is taemin. i've drawn his face at least a good 50 times when i was really into him... yeah, if there's anyone i can draw decently without a reference pic, it's probably taemin. or maybe tao too^^
